RELIC HUNT UPDATES

Well the registrations are coming in steady now averaging on four to six coming in the mail a day so if you are kicking the idea around about coming to the event this year, now is the time to send in your registration before all slots fill up. We cannot make exceptions, only 200 slots available total for this year's hunt, with only 116 left as of today.

We are currently putting together our Prize List now and should have it posted sometime soon. We are still receiving prizes, etc and will post it once we have a substantial list. However, below you will find the M1816 Wickham Conversion Musket which will be one of our top token prizes awarded at this years hunt!

We have also picked up a new local sponsor this year "LBL Whispering Pines Campground" is offering discounts on their Cabins & Primitive/Modern Camping Hookups for the weekend of the hunt. Were still receiving registrations about one or two every other day. I believe we will get very close to the 200 mark. We have never received this many forms prior to August 1st before, and the bulk of them come in just prior to the first deadline. If your form is number 201, it will be sent back pending a cancellation!!!!

We have also been getting questions involving team digging. That's fine with us, however, its very simple, if your on the field, you must pay the registration fee and obtain a name tag!!! This is NOT a money issue, it is very simply a space & liability issue. All participants expect 200 bodies (at most) on the field and that's what were preparing for so there is no crowding.

* Also note that this year we will not be granting refunds after August 31st. This has been a gray area in the past that needed to be addressed. However, in the event you are unable to attend, you can sell your spot to a friend or fellow relic hunter. We will need to be notified of the change or that person will not be allowed on the field!
