A very nice ebony wood fan. The fan is in excellent condition and is engraved with a nice floral type design. The fan is sheer with small flat bead like decoration. Great fan for a collection or living historian.

Here is a neat little piece. A small crock inkwell that measures 3" X 1.2". This would look neat next to a writing desk.

Here is a unique pair of hand carved ivory figures with movable limbs. They measure about 5" tall. The facial features are accurately carved as well. Unsure about the origin, however it is not uncommon to see items like this come out of a long term camp or even prison camps, were soldiers had an unlimited amount of time to carve wood, ivory, or lead.

No doubt this bonnet has seen better days, though it still holds it character. There are several tears in the fabric which is black silk. The "bustle" portion of the bonnet remains, though the straps are missing. This would compliment any curio display or civilian collection.

Well, I wouldn't walk a mile in these shoes! Here is an extraordinary pair of wooden soled shoes. Made of leather which is nailed to the soles and attach with a single buckle. Its interesting that this is the second pair of these shoes that I have come across, and most recently found a child's shoe identical to these at the Memphis Civil War show this past weekend. The heal plates look rather unique, however there have been several civil war period shoes with this type of "railing" on them. The first pair a friend of mine had was found in New York state which were identified, with a letter from the Yankee soldier that captured the shoes, he had taken them from a Confederate in the 13th Georgia Infantry. These shoes are similar to a pattern that was patented by the CS Government (Patent #120) from Atkinville, Va, Dec of 1862.

This is something you don't always see. An authentic ladies chatelaine with four attachments consisting of a pair of scissors, sewing thimble, needle holder, and a retractable pencil. This would be worn on a ladies dress and would clip on either the ladies belt or would be clipped onto the waistline of the skirt.

Price: $185.00

Here is a nice piece for the civilian collector. A 19th century ladies two piece gutta-percha belt buckle. You'll notice the hardware on the buckle is not designed to take much stress, so these were worn with a light fabric or silk, mainly as an accessory.

Very nice broach measuring 3" x 2". Clasp in tact. The design is of a grapevine with a red stone in the center. Very nice piece.
