Quarter Plate Tintype of Armed Cavalryman
Item #: FDR18-029
Click on an image to enlarge
Here is a really nice quarter plate tintype of an unidentified double armed cavalryman in full pose decked out in his mounted shell jacket. He has a small revolver in his belt and a saber at his side. You can see on his hat what appears to be a plume and crossed sabers. There are no creases or emulsions noted. There is a spot noted to the left of the gentleman's head but it looks like it was done during the processing of the image. Comes in a complete leatherette case.
