Mint - Published M1851 NCO Belt Rig

A super nice - mint - looking buff NCO belt rig with a M1851 Eagle Sword Belt Plate. The belt is buff leather and is in mint condition with no damage or repairs noted. It still retains the adjustment loop as well as the brass adjustment hook. The belt plate is in immaculate condition with a pleasing mellow patina. It still retains the silver applied wreath and has matching bench number with its keeper. The stitching is still holding.
You will be hard pressed to upgrade this one. This belt was published in the article "The Strange History of Buff Leather - Its Origins and Military Applications" Spring Volume 68:1 of the Company of Military Historians as well as "Military Leather in the 19th Century, Its Methods and Secrets" by David Jarnigan.
