T-68 Confederate 10-Dollar Note dated 1864 in very good circulated condition. The edges are clean with no damage noted, though it is slightly cut off centered. The color is very good on both sides of the note. In the center you can clearly see the military vignette of the horse drawn artillery. In the lower left hand corner is R.M.T. Hunter who served as Secretary of State for a short time. The reverse has a vibrant blue denomination across the back 'TEN' and '10' in each corner. The bill is in really good condition overall.

T-67 Confederate 20-Dollar Note dated 1864 in overall very good circulated condition. The edges are clean with no tears or repairs noted and no pinholes noted either. The bill is vibrant with both the written and printed ink easily seen. The reverse has the denomination 'TWENTY' across the back with '20' in each corner. The blue remains vibrant. On the front of the bill you can see the capital building of Nashville in the center with Alexander Stephens, the Vice President in the lower right hand corner. This is an exceptional specimen.

The reverse is blank. This was the highest volume $20 Note issued by the Confederacy at 2,366,486.

In the center of the note you can see the vignette of the capitol of Richmond, Virginia. In the lower right hand corner is C.G. Memminger who served as Secretary of the Treasury for most of the Civil War. There were 7,745,600 notes issued. T-51 Confederate Note in good circulated (cancelled) condition. The edges are clean, on the left however, there is one small tear on the lower left hand corner. Both the printed and written ink is easily read, though slightly faded. It has the single hammer cut cancellations and none of the cuts have pulled away, leaving the areas un-noticed.
The reverse has a very ornate Blue back with the denomination which still has very good color. The center vignette shows the capitol in Nashville, Tennessee and has the Vice President of the Confederacy Alexander Stephens in the lower right hand corner. There were 776,800 notes issued and is dated December 2nd, 1862.

There are no pinholes noted and no tears or repairs noted, there are some 'wrinkles' I guess you would call them, as is expected with a circulated note. The edges are clean and the vignettes are still easily seen and remain clear. Both the written and printed ink can be easily seen. The reverse has the denomination in blue, which retains good color. This particular note is printed on the plain white paper.
The center of the note highlights a military scene of horse drawn artillery and R.M.T. Hunter, Secretary of State, in the lower right hand corner. There were 9,145,000 T-68 Notes printed.

T-60 A decent looking Confederate note with the edges clean and no tears or repairs that I can see. The vignettes remain clear and easily seen, though some faded has occured as this is a circulated note. Both the written and printed ink can still be seen. There are some pinholes noted ( a few are slightly larger ) though it does not affect the overall appearance of the note. The reverse has the blue denomination vignette as can be seen in the scans. It remains vivid and has great color.
The center of the note highlights the capitol of Richmond Virginia and on the lower right is C.G. Memminger who served as Secretary of the Treasury for most of the War. There wer approximately 7,745,600 notes issued.

T-59 Conferate 10-Dollar Note - 1863

T-59 - Nice looking Confederate 10-dollar note dated April 6th, 1863. The note is in circulated condition with clean edges, no tears or repairs noted. The vignettes are faded slightly, but still are easily seen in detail. The note is 1st series and the lithos are by Evans & Cogswell. There are some pinholes noted, but are few. The reverse has the ornate bluish Roman tens with the 'Ten Dollars' arched above and below. It still retains a nice color.
The center of this note highlights the proposed state capitol in Columbia, South Carolina and in the lower left hand corner is R.M.T. Hunter, who served as Secretary of State and as a Confederate Senator.

T-41 Confederate 100-Dollar Note in nice circulated condition which has some mild folds and one very small piece of the upper right hand corner knicked off. Otherwise, the edges are crisp and no other major tears or repairs noted. The printed and written ink is still vivid and easily seen. The front shows slaves hoeing cotton or 'Hoers', John C. Calhoun on the lower left hand corner, with the allegorical representation of the 'Confederacy' on the lower right hand side.
The reverse is plain, however it does have two intrest paid stamps on the back which are both Augusta. There is also something written in pencil regarding 'Cash 200'. When held up to the light there are no pinholes noted, however, a very nice looking 'CSA' script watermark is very visible. This is a very nice bill overall.

T-41 Confederate 100-Dollar Note in circulated condition which has three folds and one small knick on the top-center of the bill, as can be seen in the scans. Otherwise, the edges are crisp and no other major tears or repairs noted. The printed and written ink is still vivid and easily seen. The front shows slaves hoeing cotton or 'Hoers', John C. Calhoun on the lower left hand corner, with the allegorical representation of the 'Confederacy' on the lower right hand side.
The reverse is plain, however it does have the intrest paid stamp on the back which is blurred, but is the Augusta, Georgia stamp. It also has handwritten, 'Issued Jackson Janury 14th, 1863'. The paper is in good condition with no pinholes, however, when held up to light, you can clearly see the block letters 'CS' from the 'CSA' water mark. Nice bill overall.

Here is a really fine T-41 Confederate Note in virtually uncirculated condition. The edges are crisp, though the top border was trimmed off during the rapid issuing and quantity of these notes. There are absolutely no pinholes noted on the paper and no tears or repairs noted either. The vignettes are crisp and clear with John C. Calhoun in the lower corner, Slaves Hoeing Cotton "Hoers" in the center, and the allegorical representation of the Confederacy. The written and the printed ink are very clear and easily seen by the naked eye. This is a great looking piece.
This note also has the script CSA watermark and can be easily seen when held to the light. The note is dated September 6th, 1862. This is the type with the interior marking line stopping at the 'Except'. This note was issued by Keating & Ball of Columbia South Carolina with over 678,600 notes issued between August 26th, 1862 - January 1st, 1863.

T-60 Confederate 5 Dollar Note in circulated condition. The edges are worn, as can be seen by the scans. There are pinholes noted, but no repairs on the bill itself. The printed & written ink is still fairly bright and easily read. It has a very ornate back mark with numerical and floral motifs. This particular note was issued in July of 1863 and features the Virginia State Capitol building in Richmond along with C.G. Memminger who was the Confederate Treasury Secretary.

The printed & written ink is slightly faded as noted with circulated noted. There are only a few pinholes noted and the blue back is nicely faded. This is one of the most recognizeable notes for both the novice and seasoned collectors and is a must for any collection. The vignettes are center, Lucy Pickens, then wife of the Governor of South Carolina; In the lower right hand corner is George Randolph and the Confederate Soldiers in the lower left hand corner.
