New Jersey State Seal Coat Button (Tice NJ200-CS1)

Here is a nondug New Jersey cuff button in overall good condition. It has no damage noted and retains the original shank. The front has the New Jersey coat of arms, the reverse is marked - "Horstmann Bros & Co. / PHIL". Its thought that these were first produced around 1859. Upon close examination this is a civil war period - 3piece button. These are difficult to find.

Massachusetts Pewter (Tice MS218-As1)

Non-dug cast pewter Massachusetts Button in great condition. A smaller button, it has an eagle and shield with an arch of 13stars across the top. The reverse is marked " C    F    /  PARIS", though visible on the button, is a little difficult to see. The shank is still present. According to Tice's book, these buttons are known to have been placed on coats issued to the 18th Massachusetts and 83rd Pennsylvannia.

Massachusetts State Coat Button (Tice MS202-C1)

Here is a great looking Massachusetts State Militia coat button in non-dug condition. There is no damage noted anywhere and it still retains the original shank. It has the coat of arms in the center with a ribbon underneath containing "Massachusetts". It sits on a lined field surrounded by stars. The reverse has the "D.Evans & Co. / Attleboro Mass".

Maine State Seal Militia Button (Tice ME200-A2)

Here is a great looking non-dug Maine State Seal button in great condition. There is no damage noted anywhere. The button shows the Maine coat of arms with the motto "DIRIGO" above and "MAINE" below on a lined field. THe state of Maine approved the design of this button in 1856 for use by the Volunteer Militia. It became standard on their coats by 1861. The reverse has 'Scovill MF'G Co. / Waterbury'.

Connecticut National Guard Button (Tice CT210-A1)

Great looking nondug specimen of the Connecticut National Guard button. There is no damage noted anywhere on the piece which has a lined back with "CNG" in old English Script surrounded by a vine. The reverse has ' Scovill MF'G Co. / Waterbury '. It is noted that this button is most likely circa 1865 after Connecticut started to modernize county militias into National Guard units.

Vermont State Button (Tice VT2330b2)

Great looking Vermont State Military Button in non-dug condition. The face of the button has a stag's head with 'VERMONT' arched above it. Below it is the coat of arms with 'Freedom & Unity' within a ribbon. There are 13 stars around the bottom rim of the button. This particular seal was designed around 1778 and used throughout the civil war. The reverse has 'D Evans & Co. Attleboro, Mass'. You can see the previous owner down the line has marked the button with what appears to be a catalog number in red paint. Could easily be removed if desired. Great looking button.

Connecticut State Militia Button (Tice CT205-A10)

Spectacular non-dug Connecticut State Militia Button in excellent condition. The front displays the Connecticut State seal with the abbreviated motto of 'Qui Transtulit Sustinet' which is represented on all Connecticut State buttons. The front of this button represents the style used extensively throughout the Civil War and most likely dates prior to the conflict. The backmark is, " Scovill MF'g Co. / Waterbury". No damage noted to the button and will display nicely.

New York Militia Eagle Staff Button (Tice NY218)

Beautiful non-dug New York State Militia Staff Officer's button by ' D. Evans & Co. Attleboro Mass '. This is one of the harder makers to find of this particular button. The eagle is perched with the New York military shield on a line-back field with 13-stars arched over the top. Below the eagle reads " Excelsior ".  The button is in solid shape and overall great condition.

Here is a really nice vest size button with a lined back, rope border, with the typical eagle over anchor. This is a non-dug specimen and is in overall great condition. There are no pushes noted and the shank remains in its upright position. The back is marked  'Steele & Johnson ***'. Great looking specimen for your naval display.

US Navy Hard Rubber Button (NA137-A2)

United States Navy hard rubber button, Albert's NA137-A2 which is marked "Novelty Rubber Co / New York. / Goodyear's Patent / 1851". It has the four hole configuration, stipled back. There is no damage noted anywhere on the piece and is in overall great condition.

3. All firearms are sold as collector's items only and are not warranted to be safe for shooting. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have any firearm inspected by a competent gunsmith prior to using it in any way, whether for live or blank fire. In no way is Fort Donelson Relics responsible for any injury or misuse of any firearm or weapon.

4. Firearms and edged weapons will only be sold to those individuals 18 years of age or older, who live in a jurisdiction where it is legal to possess such items.

5. All items are sold with a 5 day inspection period regarding condition and description and a lifetime guarantee regarding authenticity. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within the 5 day inspection period and let us know. You may return the item at your expense for a full refund, less shipping charges and credit card fees if applicable. All items returned must be in the same condition as when we originally shipped them to you. We cannot accept the return of items that have been damaged or altered. We suggest that you purchase insurance for the value of the item during return shipment to protect yourself.

6. Buyers may use the automated checkout system on the website or may e-mail or call us regarding an item. If you are mailing your payment, the item will be held for 7 days to allow payment to arrive. If you are making an electronic payment, you will have 48 hours for your payment to arrive. If we fail to receive your payment within the allotted time frame, the item will be returned to stock for sale.

7. We accept checks, money orders and certified/cashier's checks via mail. We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express for web based, telephone and face to face purchases at shows. Please allow 10 days for personal checks to clear prior to the item being shipped. All certified funds will result in your item shipping within 48 hours of receipt of payment. Layaways can be arranged on items over $100. 1/3 down and 1/3 in 30 days with balance due in full in 60 days. Due to time factors there are no refunds or price discounts on layaways. Only 1 item may be in lay-a-way at a time unless approved by Fort Donelson Relics.

9. All items are sold on a first come, first serve basis. If multiple buyers attempt to purchase the same item, the successful buyer will be the first to have contacted Fort Donelson Relics. Should the first buyer fail to complete the transaction, the second buyer will be given the opportunity to purchase that item.

10. All Tennessee residents will be charged 9.75% sales tax on all purchases, unless they provide a valid resale certificate.

11. We ship via the United States Postal Service or United Parcel Service for all purchases within the continental US. If you require special shipping, please contact us for a quote. Insurance is included in all shipping costs to protect your item. We will attempt to combine items to reduce shipping costs if you have purchased multiple items.

12. All sales outside the United States will be handled at the discretion of Fort Donelson Relics. In general, we do not ship weapons outside the US, but feel free to contact us regarding your situation. It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that the item being purchased is legal to possess and import into their country. The buyer is responsible for all additional costs associated with an international sale. Once an item has left the United States, the buyer assumes all risks regarding the safe and timely delivery of their purchase. Fort Donelson Relics is not responsible for customs delays, confiscation or loss. Items shipped outside the US are non-returnable and non-refundable. International purchases must be made via Western Union, Money Gram or International Wire Transfer. Credit card purchases cannot be processed for non-US customers.
