A really nice M1860 Colt Army revolver with a desirable 1863 production date. The iron is has a dark gun metal gray tone throughout with some moderate pitting noted scattered throughout. With that you can still see some of the cylinder scene, manufacture, and inspector's markings. On the top of the barrel you can clearly see the Colt New York address as the patent information on the cylinder.

The action is tight, cylinder indexes, and hammer responds to the trigger. The wedge is present and matches the serial number that is on the cylinder, frame, and trigger guard. The only apology is the head of the loading lever screw is broke, but the body of the screw is present (See pics). The walnut grip shows no damage or repair and you can see the inspector's cartouche. Overall a nice example of what appears to be an untouched example and no doubt saw some action during the war.
