Federal M1851 Eagle Belt Plate in overall great condition. This is the version that is all cast brass, including the wreath below the eagle. It has the stippled background. It retains the keeper and when you look closely at the tongue, it has a '44' scratched into it and the keeper, that matches it perfectly, also has a light '44' scratched into it. No doubt a matching set. Great looking piece. This is a mid-late 1863 through after the Civil War.
