M1851 Colt Navy revolver with an 1862 production date. The iron appears to have been cleaned with the gun metal look starting to age. There is mild pitting spread evenly throughout the gun. The barrel markings, serial number, and frame stamping are all visible and easily read. None of the cylinder naval scene is present, though some of the serial number is present, which matches all of the other serial numbers on the gun including the frame, loading lever, wedge, and trigger guard.
There are no cartouches. The wood grip is in good condition with no nicks or cracks noted. The action works and is solid. All of the nipples are present and original. Although there is non of the original finish is present, it still a decent looking gun, with all matching serial numbers, early 1862 production date - alot of relic here for 1,000.
Price: $1,000.00 USD (Sale Pending)
