Item #: FDR15-133

Here is a great cartridge box for a new collector. The leather is pliable but as you can see has considerable wear. On the inner flap you can clearly see the great inspectors and makers marks. We see that this box is made by Ruben Nece of Philadelphia and had multiple government contracts for leather goods including belts, cartridges boxes, and bayonet scabbards to name a few.

All of the hardware is present including the tins, two japanned buckles, belt loops, brass finial, and latch tabs. The US embossed on the outer flap is easily seen as well. The piece is solid, just exhibits some wear.
