6pdr Confederate Borman Shell

Here is your typical Confederate 6pdr shell w/ Borman Fuse recovered here in the Dover area many years ago. The shell has some moderate pitting and looks like it has attempted to be cleaned and coated. Could probably use a redo – but it is stable. It has been disarmed at the bottom – leaving the fuse intact. However, the fuse, as can be seen in the pics, does not retain the detail such as the numbers. The cool thing is that I don’t think it was even fired as there is not a punch hole in the fuse channel. There is one small divot noted, about the size of a dime. But it is what it is – and priced accordingly.
