Here is a cool 1818 Pattern Nathan Starr Cavalry Sword complete with scabbard.

The sword itself is in good condition with a blade that has a bright finish and measures just under 32.5inches. The marking on the blade is US / P / LS / N STARR. LS stands for Luther Sage, inspector for the US Government. The iron guard is in good condition and the handle retains about 70% of the leather. These particular swords did not have wire.

The scabbard is in good condition. Its missing the throat, but the sword fits nicely in the scabbard. The mounts and rings are also present. There is no damage noted to the scabbard.

This is a nice display piece overall.
